Business & Marketing:
What worked best for summer 2023 enrollments
Formats: Summer camps were the clear winner in 2023! While the information below is based on previous class formats, you can still create fun, engaging summer camps that meet two or more times within the same week to meet the demand. Make sure you know what constitutes a camp when creating new class listings.
Subjects: Last summer was split between academic learning and fun! Math and English dominated the academic demand with almost 40% of class subjects, while life skills, coding & tech, and arts accounted for 42% of enrolled subjects. Even if you do not currently offer one of these classes, remember that you can take what you offer and adapt it to meet the demand.
Age Groups: Summer enrollments in 2023 consisted mainly of learners between 8 and 13. While there were outliers for younger and older learners, if you want to increase your enrollments this summer, focus on this age range to maximize your chances of success.
Remember, families tend to enroll in summer camps beginning in April and continue signing up through early August.
Psst…a new Summer Outlook is coming soon with even more details. We’ll announce it here in a couple of weeks.
